Methodology

To ensure complete accuracy, transparency and fairness in the selection process, the winners for the Geospatial Awards® will be selected as per the following procedure:

• Geospatial Today will seek nominations from a wide section of people from the government, industry and academia.
• These respondents, using their experience and knowledge of both people and organisations, nominate persons/organisations of their choice for the awards.

An independent panel of judges constituted for this purpose as Awards Committee with representatives from government departments, trade bodies and academia as well editorial board members from the magazine will review nominations for the awards. Based on the submissions received and all criteria met for each award, selections will be made. The committee carefully considers each of the eligible nominations for that award and makes its recommendation.

The winners for each category will be determined by quantitative and qualitative measure of nominations received and also by the criteria of

• Setting challenging objectives
