Vinod K Agarwal has been instrumental in implementing the Integrated Land Information Systems (ILIS) pilot project in Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh, a pioneering effort in the country. The project, which utilizes geospatial technology extensively, envisages complete resurvey, maintenance clear and conclusive record of title of all private properties in rural and urban areas, title registration, integration of services of all departments concerned and digitisation and auto-updation. After the successful completion of the pilot project, Vinod Agarwal has taken lead in successfully pursuing the decision makers to extend the project in five districts in the State.

Aman Kumar Singh, CEO of CHhattisgarh infotech and biotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) and Secretary-in-charge (IT) of Government of Chhattisgarh. Various landmark projects related to online G2C services like CHOiCE Project, online land records (Bhuiyan), Rural e-Governance (e-Gram Suraj), online learning (e-Classroom) and e-Procurement were successfully implemented under his leadership.

Under the leadership of Mr Singh, the State has developed a comprehensive GIS having 37 primary layers and using satellite data, natural resource mapping has been carried out on 1:50,000 scale. Chhattisgarh has the distinction of being the first State to digitise its land records and it has completed 100% of geo-referencing of villages (cadastral maps) under the able guidance of Mr Singh.

Under his stewardship, Chhattisgarh has been adjudged as the 'Best of Open Source in India' by Skoch Consultancy Services. Mr. Singh's name finds mention in the list of top 25 people in India who are instrumental in bringing sea-change in the area of e-Governance, by ‘Good Governance' magazine. He was also conferred ‘eGov Champion Award’ for Eastern Region in India by ‘Dataquest’ magazine. He is Guest Faculty to IIMs, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade - New Delhi, ASCI – Hyderabad and NISG – Hyderabad etc. He is a regular speaker for various National and International Seminars / Conferences.
